Executive Bios

Ross Ridder
President

Ross brings more than 15 years of successful direct marketing experience to his position of president and founder of DMR Direct.

As a former Air Force officer and graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Ross developed many skills that prepared him for a career in direct marketing. His methodical approach, focus on results and demand for perfection have led to a long list of successes for his clients and DMR Direct.

Ross’s experience includes industries as varied as retail, non-profit, education, high-tech and financial, and clients as respected as Costco Wholesale, Nielsen Claritas, National University, BCBG Max Azria, Penn State University and YWCA.

Ross is a fitness enthusiast and in his spare time teaches Beach Boot Camp classes on the sunny beaches of San Diego. He’s also an avid cyclist and certified Spinning instructor.

John Spencer
Senior Vice President

For more than 13 years, some of the top brands in the country have counted on John to bring innovative ideas, industry best practices and exceptional service to their programs.

John’s experience includes eight years as a Vice President at two of the top 25 direct marketing agencies in the country. Client experience includes American Express, Bank of America, Costco Wholesale, Farmers Insurance, Intuit and many others.

John is Individually Qualified in Google AdWords for Search Advertising, Display Advertising and Reporting & Analysis.

When John isn’t developing successful direct marketing programs he enjoys biking, swimming and traveling.
